Dr Deborah Kuchler ( www.DeborahKuchler.com ) is a businesswoman whose specialist skills lie in identifying and realising science and technology-based intellectual property that has commercial worth. She has over 20 years experience in Managing Director and CEO positions in technology companies, including her own, and she currently holds four company director positions. Served concurrently, Deborah has twenty five years experience as a Ministerial Adviser to Commonwealth and State Governments and has served on 27 Ministerial Advisory Councils and/or Government owned Corporations. From 2004 to 2006, she served concurrently as a member of both the IP Australia Advisory Board and the Advisory Board of the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia.

Dr Kuchler is the inaugural CEO of BioMed North Limited ( www.BioMedNorth.org ), a company that has pioneered the commercialisation of intellectual property within Area Health Services in NSW since 2001.
